​Certification Course Update

• In Spring of 2022, IMSA announced that all IMSA certification courses would be retired in the fall, and that the organization will be creating updated certification courses.

• On October 31, 2022, IMSA retired all previous certifications courses.

• The first group of new courses are expected to be ready in March 2023. This includes:

  • Traffic Signal Level I​

  • Traffic Signal Level II - Field

  • Signs and Markings Technician - Level I

  • Roadway Lighting Technician - Level I

• Once courses are again available, we will post links to our Florida section course providers.

• From our provider websites, you will be able to sign up for the desired IMSA course.

  • Certain providers offer both in-person and on-line courses​

• We will send an email to our Florida section subscribers once courses are available again.

• As of January 2023, the Fiber Optic course is available with one provider, About Phase Academy.
